Great Outdoors Club toasting marshmallows
We had a great afternoon outdoors and released some tadpoles into the pond in the rath today. We topped up the water level with some buckets of rainwater and hope they might grow into froglets beyond the Easter holidays.
The firepit was lit today for the first time and we made smores and roast marshmallows and we worked up an appetite working on our willow fence and the willow tunnel too.
To top it all off we were treated to a surprise Easter egg hunt and all got a healthy quota of chocolate before home time!
Thank you P7 for your big efforts and hard work over the past few weeks as you have left a legacy of work in school by planting our wood and building the school cairn for pupils to enjoy in the future.
