Great Outdoors Club Week 2

29th Sep 2021

The sun came out and added some sunshine to our fun outdoors this week.

P2 and P3 had lots of different activities to take part in . We foraged for items for our own mini box of nature items we discovered ourselves . Any really interesting items we found all became part of a story of our afternoon exploration as we wove them into a nature tapestry picture . We also made lots of leaf collages of animals we might find in our school rath such as owls , tadpoles , birds , mice , hedgehogs or even a deer ! Our last activity was personalising and naming our own little acorn people who we hope to plant at home to grow for ourselves.

We couldn’t believe our luck when we spotted a frog who lives in the rath who we hope came from our tadpoles at the start of the year in our school pond!
