Banbridge Speech and Drama Festival

24th Nov 2022

We were delighted to host the adjudicators for the Banbridge Performing Arts Speech and Drama Festival, today. We had a fantastic number of entries from our Nurery-P4 pupils. The judges were delighted with how well every child performed and were so impressed with how they all spoke with great confidence and expression.

Congratulations to our 2 overall winners:

Best Girl Maria Doran

Best Boy Lugh Harper-Simmance

Huge thanks to Mrs Lindsay who led the organisation and preparation for this event along with help from Mrs Irvine.

Yesterday, our KS2 Choral speaking group, led by Miss Gowdy, performed their poems at the Belmont Hotel. They put on a tremendous performance, finishing in a very credible 2nd place; just beaten by 1 point.
