We welcomed the boys and girls of P7 to the Great Outdoors Club on Tuesday and we went straight to work planting trees . Some of us shared our excitement and felt incredibly proud to have dug the plots for our trees and to have the accomplishment of planting them. Some of us even gave them nicknames and it will be great when they begin to flourish and produce leaves as we can spend time identifying them.
We will plant the other half of a wide variety of tree species in a space that will transform into our own Ballydown wooded area where everyone in school can explore , experiment , play and learn . Keep watching the school website for our progress .
