P4 had great fun celebrating World Book Day in school. They dressed up as a character from a book or in their pyjamas. We had an assembly to talk about the importance of books. Miss White and Mrs Irvine talked about reading books make you smart, happy and relaxed. We found out some interesting facts about Winnie the Pooh too. P4 were so excited to read a book to each of the Nursery boys and girls. Congratulations to Evie for winning the bookmarker competition and Archie for winning the Winnie the Pooh character competition. Some of our P4 pupils were delighted to be shorted listed for the Junior Newsdesk competition. Well done to Henry Wynd, Grace and Charlie.
