What an amazing day celebrating the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe! We all dressed up in costume and party clothes and everyone looked fabulous; boy and girl evacuees, land girls, Military, Winston Churchill, a girl from Pearl Harbour and party goers. Major Shields came to visit us in assembly and we enjoyed a street party and picnic lunch in the beautiful sunshine. We designed tea cups and medals and we played with toys and games from that time in history.
