P4 had a great day re-enacting a day at school in the past. We dressed up in Victorian day clothes and brought a typical lunch for school in the past. It was very interesting visiting the old school in Cultra and imagining what life was like for a boy or girl in the past. It was fun chanting out our spellings and tables, using ink pens, writing on the slates. There were a few blots and the cane appeared! Everyone had a great time playing with the old hoops, stilts, skipping ropes and marbles in the playground. After a busy morning in the classroom we were all hungry and enjoyed our packed lunch.
