VE Day 80
8th May 2025
We had a wonderful day commemorating VE Day 80. Everyone looked fabulous in their costumes. Our day started with a fascinating assembly led by an Irish Guards Major, who told us all about his life in the army and reminded us of the importance of commemorating this important date in our history. Dexter, P7, read us a letter which was sent to all children after the war had ended from King George VI.
The sun shone for our street party lunch, outdoors, where we enjoyed our party boxes and war time music!
What a lovely day we all had. Thanks so much for all of your efforts.
